Chinese celebrities seems to have been to this place so when I saw Choi Lan (i mean the cardboard piece with the food) on the door step I thought I must try.
The decor with on the restaurant was pretty traditional including what the waitress wore. I personally have mixed opinions about the food. I found that the chicken was amazing, the texture was quite good and was done prefect. The problem I had was with the rice balls. I found it too salty, hard and dry. So, I was not impressed at all but I visit Malaka again, I will go back for the chicken
Went to Malaysia for a while and one of the places we went to was Honeymoon. They sell desserts which were amazing, most of which reminded me of the ones from Hong Kong; it wasn’t until the waiter explained that chef who designed the dishes is from HK

We even got to try Duran Pancakes which were excellent
I like this little local Malaysian Restaurant. It is a little difficult to park because it is located in the main road. I have been there a couple of times now and each time I found it very warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself is very small but enough space for you to comfortably move around.

I really do enjoy the food there. They have an exceptional sweet and sour ribs and it is not something you get from a take away. The ribs has been deep fried so it is crispy and the sauce is not sharp or too sweet but fragrant. The ribs are decorated with colourful vegetables. Their Hoi Lam Gai Fan is full of flavour, the chicken is not over cooked but very juicy and tender. I would like to try their drinks as well they have a very big collection fruit blended drinks.

With great the service and quality of food I do think it is value for money and would be going there again.
