Juicy Fruity Bits

The fruit was first grown in China in the 1800s and recently it has pick up here.  This little fruit is flat and relatively smaller than the normal peaches we find in the supermarkets.  This fruit is also known as Chinese flat peaches, Chinese saucer peaches, saturn peaches or peento peaches

Although they are small they are incredibly sweet with a tiny pip, and soft flesh.  The only downer is that it is slightly more expensive then the larger ones.  I think it is worth it though.
