This restaurant is located in a side street of Covent Garden.  To be honest I love the decor, the mirror fixed along the narrow part sof the restaurant to make it look bigger and the lighting.

We had  a starter which consist of prawns and calamari to share.  There was not much seasoning was added to the dish, the calamari was not crisp but it wasn’t rubbery either.  The garlic mayo came out a rather interesting colour and it didn’t taste like garlic which is a little disappointing; it just tasted like plain old mayo.

The pork belly was amazingly dry, however the skin has crackled and not at all rubbery even with the sauce.  The only problem is that it is slightly on the hard side.

I ordered the duck and although I asked for it to be well done, it come out very dry.  Not to forget my mash was very soft, a little runny side and tasteless.  It was not all bad, the pear is delious, soft and very full of flavour.

Service is a little disappointing, not seen the manager have a word with their staff out the open like that.

Additional comments: I don’t think I will go again, althought the portion is big and it is reasonabley priced I don’t think it is to my standard

I went to the one located near Selfridges in central London.  The main reason we went was because we had a £10.00 meal deal, which consist of a drink and any main meal; with the credit crunch taking in effect there has been a number vouchers.  It was nice having all the doors but when there was a breeze it did bring in a foul smell.  Which wasn’t pleasent at all.

I had a rib eye steak where the portation was very decent, it has salad, chips and a sauce of your choice accompany it.  I asked for my steak to be meduim rare, but I found my steak was over cooked to the extent where there was no pink at all; dread to think what would be well done.  The salad looked a bit sorry for its self.  Some of itwas a bit wilted, and could bring myself to eat it.   For dessert I had a Eton Mess, which as described as disappointing.   I expected more morangue but instead I got a lot of whipped cream.
